Replacement installation

From failed appliance to fitted replacement.

PrimeFix can support the practical route from an appliance that is beyond economical repair to a compatible replacement that is installed, checked and ready to use.

One route instead of restarting the process.

If PrimeFix has already diagnosed the appliance, the replacement requirement can be considered alongside the existing job information. For a direct installation enquiry, tell us the current appliance type and model, the proposed replacement and whether removal is required.

01 / CONFIRM

Check the replacement

Dimensions, appliance type and existing services are considered before fitting.

02 / REMOVE

Take out the failed appliance

Removal can be included where agreed and access allows the appliance to be removed safely.

03 / FIT

Install and test

The compatible replacement is positioned, connected and checked for basic operation.

Integrated replacements may require additional compatibility checks for cabinet dimensions, furniture doors, hinges and ventilation.
Integrated or freestanding

The installation route depends on the appliance.

Freestanding replacements are generally simpler; integrated appliances become part of the kitchen furniture and need a more detailed fit check.

Washing machines & washer dryers

Water, waste, electrical access and levelling considered.

Dishwashers

Connection position, drainage and integrated-door setup where applicable.

Fridges & freezers

Cabinet compatibility and ventilation are important for integrated models.

Electric ovens

Replacement fitting where the existing electrical arrangement is suitable for the appliance.

Need the old appliance removed too?

Removal and responsible recycling can be arranged with the installation where applicable.
